Sigma Thermography is our thermal imaging division that specializes in infrared inspections. We are an independent third party with no vested interest in any remedial work that may be required as a result of our findings, so you can be assured of professional and objective service.
The scope of our inspections is defined by applicable industry accepted standards, guidelines and regulations such as Canadian National Masters Specifications and ASTM.
We use professional equipment capable of accurately measuring temperatures from -40 to 2000 degrees Celsius, and producing images of the highest resolution available at 640 x 480 pixels.
Our Written Practice for conducting infrared thermography and certifying personnel meets the requirements of the American Society of Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) and is administrated by a Level 3 Certified Thermographer in our company. Our team includes Level 1 to Level 3 thermographers qualified in various backgrounds that are relevant to our client’s needs. Our thermographers have also taken Electrical Safety and Arc Flash Hazard training and are equipped with Arc-flash PPE prescribed by CSA Z462.
